If you're like us, you love Rick and Morty. You have seen both of the seasons and are eagerly waiting to see what happens to Rick and how he will escape. Here are a few things that have been stated by one of the shows creators, Dan Harmon.
Mr Poopybutthole stated at the end of season 2 that season 3 would arrive around a year and a half. This put the release date to around March 2017, However Dan Harmon stated they were targeting to get the next season out for the end of 2016.
Rick and Morty have "hired a bunch of new writers". They have now created a gender balance. They are unsure if it is just pure coincidence or because a lot of female writers noticing that the writing staff mainly consisted of males. The women were not picked just for their gender, but Dan Harmon stated that they had great writing skills. Harmon also stated they don't want to spend too many episodes on Ricks release so we can expect an episode or two showing Rick's release / escape
Harmon has stated in Magic City Comic Con that the production schedule is leading to a late 2016 premiere and that season 3 will consist of 14 episodes.
Hopefully Harmon will keep to the schedule and release another season of top quality comedy as he has done previously. We are eager to see Rick's latest adventures as well as how he escapes the space jail. Will it be violent or will it be peaceful? We do not know yet, only way to find out is to watch the show!
